Employees Spend Meaningful Time with Children of Determination
Cotecna Dubai recently organized an inspiring Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) drive at Senses Residential and Day Care for Special Needs (SENSES). The event saw enthusiastic participation from a majority of Cotecna staff, who dedicated their time to creating joyful and memorable moments for the children of determination.
As part of this heartfelt initiative, employees took part in a variety of interactive and engaging activities with the children. The day was filled with laughter, games, and warm conversations that brought genuine joy to the young residents. Cotecna also sponsored one day’s meals for the children.
In addition, the team donated educational toys, which lit up the children’s faces with excitement and gratitude.
The emotional connection shared during the session was deeply rewarding for everyone involved. The children at SENSES cherish human connection, and their enthusiastic smiles and eagerness to interact made the experience truly unforgettable.
About Sense
Founded in 2004, Senses Residential and Day Care for Special Needs (Senses) is a non-profit organization based in Dubai, UAE and the first residential care facility in the Middle East, dedicated to improving the quality of life of people of determination. The center provides 24/7 care for children with unique needs that require special therapies, offering them rehabilitative and educational programmes, as well as a nurturing environment where they can develop new skills and improve their abilities. In 2010, with the generous personal contribution from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the purpose-built day care center and residential care facility was donated to the organization. Currently, 110 children with various special needs are enrolled at Senses from which over 80 children are accommodated in the residential care facility.
