Cotecna is proud to announce its official designation as a Notified Body by the Directorate General for Standards and Metrology (DGSM) for the Omani Quality Mark (OQM) Regulations. Effective September 15, 2025, the OQM is a trusted national symbol of product quality and safety, issued under Ministerial Decision No. 718/2024.
As a Notified Body, Cotecna is authorized to conduct conformity assessment procedures for products regulated under the OQM Regulations. This includes evaluating compliance with approved standard specifications, performing factory audits, reviewing technical documentation, and issuing certification for eligible products.
Cotecna is now authorized to certify regulated products including:
- Ordinary portland cement
- Sulphate resisting cement
- Portland limestone cement
- Ceramic tiles
