Quality Mark (OQM) Programme, following approval by the Oman Directorate General for Standards and Metrology (DGSM).
Issued under Ministerial Decision No. 718/2024, the Omani Quality Mark is a national symbol of product quality and safety, ensuring that regulated products placed on the Omani market comply with applicable technical regulations and approved standards. As a DGSM Notified Body, Cotecna is authorized to carry out conformity assessment activities in line with the OQM Regulations.
This expanded scope further strengthens Cotecna’s capacity to support manufacturers and suppliers by providing a broader range of regulated products under the OQM framework. Cotecna’s services include technical documentation review, factory audits, product evaluation, and certification in accordance with Omani regulatory requirements.

- Cement
- Ceramic Tiles
- Construction & Building Materials
- Food
- Low Voltage Equipment
- Drinking Water including Bottled Drinking Water and Natural Mineral Water
