Differences between FASEH, e-Cosma & GHAD

Do you know the differences between these 3 e-platforms to clear your cosmetics goods under the SFDA programme?

When importing cosmetics to Saudi Arabia under the SFDA programme (Saudi Food and Drug Authority), you will need to declare, register and list your cosmetic products and request a certificate of conformity on several platforms. Find below the details of these e-platforms for you:

E-Cosma notification system

Implemented by the SFDA, E-Cosma is an electronic cosmetic notification system that eases the process of products’ registration. It allows companies to register cosmetics, renew their licenses, & apply for updates.

GHAD system

The unified electronic system rolled out by The Saudi Food & Drug Authority (SFDA), used by importers and manufacturers in KSA to register & renew your cosmetics products’ licenses, as well as all medical device market authorization.

FASEH system

FASEH is an electronic clearance system implemented by SFDA that enables importers to submit a clearance request for cosmetics products and allows Certification entities such as Cotecna to inspect products and issue shipment certificates.
