Mandatory Transition from Jeem1 to Maneh by January 2026 to Streamline Trade Compliance
The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) has announced the official launch of the Maneh platform, which replaced the existing Jeem1 system for importers starting 1 January 2026. This transition is part of SASO’s ongoing digital transformation strategy aimed at streamlining conformity assessment processes and enhancing efficiency across the Kingdom’s trade ecosystem.
The Maneh platform introduces a unified digital hub with enhanced automation, improved user interface, and real-time tracking features. All conformity assessment requests will now be submitted and processed through Maneh, eliminating the need for parallel systems. Authorized Conformity Bodies (CBs) such as Cotecna will have direct access to the platform, enabling faster review and approval of SQM requests. Importers will benefit from streamlined workflows, automated notifications, and consolidated documentation, significantly reducing the risk of missed deadlines or incomplete submissions.
Importers and exporters must prepare for the transition by familiarizing themselves with the new platform and ensuring all pending Jeem1 requests are completed on Maneh by 28 January 2026. Early adaptation will help businesses avoid disruptions and maintain compliance during the changeover period.
Cotecna, as an approved SASO Conformity Body (CB), is happy to provide support to businesses during this transition to ensure compliance with the Maneh platform requirements.
